The following sauna etiquette must be adhered to at all times:
- Swimwear must be worn at all times
- Wash your feet using the provided bucket before entering the sauna
- Shower before using the plunge pool
- Sit on a towel while inside the sauna
- Limit your time inside the sauna to no more than 15 minutes at a time (we recommend 5-15 minutes depending on experience)
- Respect other sauna users at all times
- Check with other sauna users before pouring water onto the stove
- When pouring water onto the sauna heater rocks, do this gently from the back of the rocks to the front, to avoid getting burned by the steam. Use the ladle provided for this, do not ‘dump’ water on the rocks.
- Use only the provided ‘sauna water’ to pour onto the stove.
- Ensure you change within your booked time slot if using the changing area.
If you are making this booking on behalf of a group or anyone other than yourself, it is your responsibility to make all individuals aware of these terms and conditions and to practise safe sauna use. All individuals must agree to these terms and conditions, and must be aware of what to bring to the sauna session. (see ‘what should I bring with me’ in FAQs).
I have read and understood the terms and conditions and I voluntarily agree that I and all members of my party will abide by them. In the case of a group booking, I will ensure that all members of my party are aware of the terms and conditions. I acknowledge that sauna use involves inherent risks, and I assume full responsibility for my own and my parties’ actions and their consequences.
